Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Electrical Helper/Apprentice for an immediate start in Munster, IN!
PAY: $18-$22/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 3:30pm
START DATE: 11/12/2025
DURATION: 1-2 weeks
Job Description:
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of a licensed electrician to install and upgrade lighting systems in a commercial retail setting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while contributing to a high-profile commercial renovation.
Responsibilities:
--Assist electricians with the installation of new lighting systems and electrical components.
--Run and pull wire, install conduit, and support fixture installation.
--Maintain a clean and organized work area.
--Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
--Handle tools, materials, and equipment responsibly.
--Perform other general labor or support tasks as needed on-site.
Qualifications:
--Previous experience as an electrical apprentice or construction helper preferred.
--Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices.
--Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.
--Comfortable working on commercial construction sites.
--Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
--Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts.
Additional Requirements:
--Must be eligible to work in the United States.
--PPE Required: Hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
