Summary
We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team at Work Daze LLC. This position offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on training and experience in the electrical field, contributing to various projects while learning from seasoned professionals. Additionally, has experience in building schools and colleges, contributing to construction projects by assisting in various tasks and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
- Learn to read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely under supervision.
- Participate in the installation of wiring, outlets, and fixtures according to NEC standards.
- Support high voltage and low voltage electrical work as needed on construction sites.
- Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other tools to ensure systems are functioning properly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in electrical work is a plus.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents is essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools and safety practices in a construction environment.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn from experienced electricians.
